Papaji: Freedom, Liberation, Enlightenment, Moksha

In this powerful Satsang from November 16, 1992, Papaji talks about consciousness and explains how being aware of the ego is essential to stop identifying with it. To see the ego is not to be the ego and in that moment of total awareness one is free.

“Look here and know who you are. Instantly you will find freedom, and this suffering–hitchhiking from womb to womb–will instantly stop. The only way is to look within.”
Sri H.W.L. Poonja

Papaji

One of the major Indian gurus of the twentieth century, Sri H.W.L. Poonja, or Poonjaji, or affectionately called Papaji, was not affiliated with any formal Indian tradition or lineage. His mother initiated him into the path of Bhakti Yoga through devotion of Krishna; for many years, he travelled throughout India seeking teachers who could provide an instant glimpse, a darshan, of the divine.
