We are so excited to be hosting the beautiful soundscape of BrightSide Blue!

BrightSide Blue is a California based duo that performs a dynamic live looping set filled with lush vocals, virtuosic guitar work, and uniquely crafted songs. Ananda and Lindsay are storytellers, spirit callers, and songhealers on a mission to open a field of magic through music in which anything is possible. Sometimes bluesy and rocking, sometimes soft and ethereal, the sounds never fail to provide us with powerful medicine for the moment. See the rest of their PNW Tour starting with Oregon Country Fair.

The doors will open at 6:30 PM and close at 6:55 PM. This will allow us all to ground in and build a container for the evening to unfold.

To prepare you for the heart felt magic BrightSide Blue brings to the stage, Lisa Stein will start the evening with a Heart of Now grounding in and connection led exercises. Once you are sweetly tapped into your heart, Clayton will take you on a melodic journey with his soothing vocals followed by the power of BrightSide Blue!

More about BrightSide Blue:
"This love story has a soundtrack." Lindsay Bellows and Ananda Vaughan have found the perfect complements in each other: Lindsay is a soulful songbird, who soars and dives over the lush textures of Ananda’s musical landscapes. Equal parts groove and melody, their songs keep audiences delightfully engaged — tapping feet, singing along, and basking in the love for life that radiates from this couple.

Ananda trained for many years as a jazz guitarist, and has found inspiration in other guitar masters from rock, folk and world music. Lindsay grew up with pop and R&B music, and studied the influencers of her childhood idols — the soul and blues singers of the mid 20th century. The pair brings together the best of all these genres to create a sound that is authentically and uniquely their own.

ABOUT WHITE TANTRIC YOGA® & MEDITATION

Our minds release 1000 thoughts per wink of an eye. Some of these thoughts get lost in the unconscious, and some get stuck in the subconscious and affect the conscious mind. These thoughts become feelings, emotions, desires, multi-realities or fantasies. Instead of mastering our mind, often our mind and thoughts direct or distract us, which can result in impulsive decisions, poor communication and self-imposed stress.

White Tantric Yoga® enables you to break through these subconscious blocks, so you can have a more enjoyable life. In the shortest time, you can experience release from a lot of the burden you carry in your mind.

When you see and act on each moment with clarity, you can gain a deeper understanding of yourself and your life can change. Your mind, body, and soul can act together as one. This is the path to personal freedom and awareness, and will bring more success to every area of your life. White Tantric Yoga® is a registered trademark of Humanology and Health Science Inc.

HOW IT WORKS

Envision the energy of the universe as both parallel and perpendicular in nature, like a cloth woven together. As a cloth becomes stronger when it is stretched on the diagonal, so the White Tantric Yoga® diagonal, or ‘Z’ energy is stronger. This energy cuts through the blocks that are stuck in the subconscious mind.

During this process, the diagonal energy connects the participants to the subtle body (expanded state of consciousness) through the electronic media. This works the same way as a worldwide telephone system that relies on satellites and electromagnetic energy in order to connect two parties.

HISTORY

The practice of White Tantric Yoga®, as with most sacred Eastern wisdom, had previously been a tradition passed on from teacher to student in a mystical and selective way. In 1970 the practice and experience of White Tantric Yoga® was opened to anyone who wanted to commit to the discipline and White Tantric Yoga® was taught publicly.

Until 1986, the workshops were guided by Yogi Bhajan throughout the world. In 1987 White Tantric Yoga® was presented as a video-taped series. The videos have the same effect; to connect participants to the subtle body.

Lunch – Vegetarian & Gluten-free lunch will be provided.

Water – Water stations will be provided.

What’s expected of attendees:

  • Bring your digital eventbrite ticket & ID.
  • Wear your provided wrist band given at check-in all day.
  • Be mindful of your social exposure before the workshop and do not attend if you are sick or presenting any symptoms including: fever, sore throat, cough, fatigue. loss taste and smell, and other flu-like or cold-like symptoms.
  • Be respectful and appreciative of the needs of others.

She will talk about their growth and ways to utilize them for our health, as well what they provide for the food forest’s health. She will also talk about the food forest layers and permaculture principles that we can  apply in our lives physically and spiritually for Mother Earth and our collective restoration. She will then offer a medicine music set of original songs she has channeled for the healing of all relations and transmutation of pain into inspiration, strength and peace.

Maite La Muse will offer a True Voice Class and Medicine Song set as well.  As a writer and composer, Maité draws on her multi-ethnic background to write songs using a variety of languages, cultures, and styles. This workshop is a safe and soft space for you to gently explore the hidden treasures and blocks inside of your voice, as well as the many sounds and stories that live within you. We will use practices to get comfortable using your voice and expand your capacity to receive your unique and authentic sound. In this workshop, you will investigate the blocks around your authentic voice, and be held and supported in softening those edges. You will practice embodying your voice with authenticity, empowerment, and deep presence, and have fun along the way.

Xue Lionstone is a singer songwriter based in Asheville, NC. He utilizes the keyboard to create an almost Psychedelic, meditative soundscape and is also known for his funky rythmic style of playing. He brings all original music from the heart for the heart. If you are in the audience at one of his shows, you are considered to be in the band/choir. So expect to activate your voice, and sing affirmational refrains like "I’m a divine creature walking on this earth" and "I’m gonna lead with my voice." Xue’s passion is to guide singalong experiences that uplift and get people dancing and feeling.
