Join us at Fiske Planetarium for an intimate, one of a kind experience that blends the vastness of outer space with the depth of inner sanctuary. Stunning footage from sacred sites in India will immerse you in a 180 degree dome experience, accompanied by the soul-stirring sounds of Sheela Bringi’s Indian bamboo flute, vocals, ethereal harp and harmonium. Woven into your journey will be opportunities to engage in contemplation of Sanskrit texts, sacred sound, and meditation.

About Seating at Fiske Planetarium
Seating is available on a "first come, first served" basis; it is recommended to arrive early for the best selection.
Priority Seating allows for early entry to the theater, 15 minutes before General Admission, giving you the opportunity to choose your preferred seat.
The lobby opens at 6 pm for check-in. Priority Seating starts at 6:05 pm, followed by General Admission Seating at 6:20 pm.

Meet Our Team:
Behind this groundbreaking venture is a team of passionate individuals with exceptional skills and credentials:
Mark McLaughlin, Professor of South Asian Religions at William & Mary, contributes his extensive expertise in Sacred Space, presenting immersive footage from sacred sites in India for your journey.
Asha McLaughlin, our Creative Art Director & Designer, weaves her aesthetic expertise into every detail, ensuring coherence and beauty that elevates the entire experience. Through art direction and pagination Asha helps to guide the participants from visual to heart centered experience.
Brent Kuecker, our Content Producer and Visionary Director, leads the creation of this radically novel experience, meticulously curating visual and auditory elements for an immersive journey like never before. Brent will also be an accompanying musician in the live show.
Sheela Bringi, a renowned musician, takes on the roles of Curator and Co-Director of the music, shaping the sonic landscape of your journey. Sheela and Brent’s live musical accompaniment will feature ethereal harp, Indian bamboo flute, soaring vocals, and harmonium, adding captivating layers to your experience.
Cassie Schiller is the Full-Dome Production Technician for our show. She works with Fiske Planetarium at the University of Colorado at Boulder and has helped develop several films with Fiske including Forward To The Moon, Climate Change in Our Backyard, and Kids In Space (currently in production).
